pollinators

Birds, bees, butterflies, moths, even bats have a part to play in pollinating plants.  The challenges we are seeing with declines in bee and monarch butterfly populations have prompted property owners, gardeners, and landscape designers to establish plants in support of our pollinators, even designing pollinator gardens dedicated to the subject.  The following plants contribute to this effort, however further research should be pursued when providing plants for specific pollinator species, such as monarch butterflies that have specific needs.
